Eric came to our rescue in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico where we were stranded with a particularly vexing engine problem that demanded special expertise. He was energetic, methodical and tireless in getting to the bottom of the issue with our new Yanmar 4JH80 and getting it running again. He insisted on testing his work with a sea trial and provided a wealth of invaluable information. We bought a 1987 power boat and Marine Services, at our request performed a complete service, replaced fuel lines, turbo charger, cutless bearing, impeller and packing gland- basically made her run like a new vessel. We could feel a big difference after the work was completed. Eric also took us through the engine and explained basic maintenance to keep the Cummins Engine in good working order. Marine Services is top notch, professional, timely, orderly and the work is done in a very tidy manner. Eric continually attends courses to upgrade his knowledge of the latest engine technology. I've trusted my boat to Eric and Steve for years. Two summers ago they even replaced the Yanmar engine without me having to do any more than say "Do it." They got it done on budget, on time, and with no surprises. And in preparation for my single-handed transpac last year, Eric went through just about every mechanical system on the boat - his attention to detail was fantastic. He even showed up early on a Sunday morning - the day of my departure! - to do some welding on a part I found deficient just the night before. I'd recommend them to everyone.
